weekend trip to Thimble islands,Branford,CT and my OOTD

Happy Monday everyone ..the weather getting better here in Connecticut day by day..finally !! we have been to a small  weekend trip to Thimble islands .when started we didn't  expect much ,but once we reached there ..very much excited,its so beautiful..such a cute ,romantic place ..and its just 50 miles away from where we live..lets see more pictures..

isn't that amazing...we have to take mini cruise/speed boat...we went in a cruise ,there are many small islands,they are private properties i think..so..we cant stop and visit the islands.if you stay in Connecticut ,you must visit this place.its so scenic..we have visited the light house too that is near the shore..overall we had an amazing time..want to visit again

There are so many places to dine in too..we have been to friendly's and had yummy food..loaded up with more calories..:(

My birthday pictures and ootd !!

April 19th is my birthday, Thanks for all of your wishes ..means a lot to me !! me and my husband went to an Indian restaurant for lunch,and i just cut the cake at home..it was simple but good..i had yummy Indian food ,had chocolates,chocolate cake yeah..totally spoiled with more calories..:)

This is the dress i wore on my birthday..lets see more pictures..

And yeah did u notice my choco ( hello kitty ) on chair..she is my best friend,i lover her a lot..yeah kid in me  still exists....you can see huh?? The dress is a pretty lavender lace dress ,i paired up with a crochet shrug and a flower headband. and yeah i had so much cake..:(
i got a beautiful greeting card and a gift from my husband,i just love the gift..its a show piece with swarovski crystals..i just love it !!

ootd : white on white !!

sorry for being MIA...was not well past few days...suffered from flu,fever...now i am ok..back to blogging...hurray!!!! i always love white dresses...from childhood..may be heroines wear them in their introduction of the movies especially in telugu or Indian movies i can say,i love the feel the whole white costume gives.so when i found this white cotton maxi skirt..i definitely want to pair up with some white top..let see how i styled my white maxi skirt ..

so what we are discussing above.... is white top right?? yeah i bought a white top at first,but after trying that white top on this white maxi skirt,i think something is incomplete if i wear some funky jewelry on that... also i dont really like...so again my search for the white top starts..

one day i found this in sale rack at forever 21..i was excited ..i thought it would be good with my white skirt..the top is cotton with square neck and blue embroidery work around the neck ,with puff sleeves..its really cute,i finished off this look with some blue and silver accessories..how do you like,do let me know in the comments below..

ootd : Lace : Leather: winter boots !!

 do you feel ,Its really a weird combination ,i do..:)  An outfit with lace,leather and winter boots...?? but i like it.This peach lace dress which i wore in this post is the one which i bought last summer,but till now i didn't wear it at least once,even though it is winter  i just want to use that,so then this combination came in my mind ,what do you think of this outfit..do let me know

This peach lace dress is very girly, it has very unique back style,which i cant flaunt this winters,but definitely i will do an outfit post again wearing/styling this dress  in summers.This fake leather jacket i bought long back,i love to wear it especially with  dresses,because of the length i think,as it was so cold that day i wore sheer tights ,with brown boots and added a statement necklace to complete this look,and yes did u see my beanie with neon pink pom pom,isn't it adorable?if it is more cold you can wear a scarf to beat the cold,sorry i don't have more pictures..:(

Actually these pics were taken after long shopping trip,so my face was tired ,and i wear my minimal makeup as usual..i am eagerly waiting for these winters to end..

ootd : Little Red Dress ♥

This is my ootd  on Valentines day..i love to wear red dress on Vday  and two days before that day  i found this beautiful red lace dress from wet seal,the dress fits me perfectly,usually i don't usually wear sleeveless because i have bulky hands..but i wore sleeveless on that day,cause something special should be there right...:)

i kept the look very simple  because i wanted more attention to  my new diamond pendant .which i gt as a gift from hubby on Vday..its a surprise gift ,i was so excited .i love  love this,it has a pink stone around that actually the diamonds are.i think u understand what i mean.i just added my fossil rose gold watch and simple black pumps to finish off the look
i should talk about this dress,i am in search of red lace dress from long time.at last i found it but i will be more happy if the dress comes with sleeves and the color is not too bright  red its more into burgundy red.
