Benefits/uses of Curd/Yogurt !!

Curd/Yogurt is commonly used in our routine food in our day to day lives.Lets see the benefits/uses of it










For hair :



Curd is a good conditioner.Apply it to hair making a smooth paste and rinse it after half an hour with normal shampooing to get shiny hair.

To overcome the problem of  dandruff,  you can use the paste of curd and lemon. Left over the scalp for 20 minutes and rinse normally


You can mix with henna along with egg to get healthy hair


Mix it with gram flour/besan apply from the roots of your hair as a hair pack to get strong and healthy hair.


yogurt has excellent cooling properties and brings down temperature of your body if applied in hot summers,better to avoid using this hair as a hair mask in winters.



For skin :


Make a paste of curd, gram flour/besan , and turmeric and apply to face neck leave it till it dries and rinse off.you can see the difference in your skin if follow this regularly.


Mix yogurt with tomato juice and apply to face and neck


Make a paste of green gram powder with yogurt and apply to sun exposed areas it works as a good sun screen.


Dos and donts for using curd:


Curd should not be eaten at nights.


It should not be boiled or heated.


Curd should be used only when it is well formed or completely coagulated.


cure helps to increase  your weight so be careful if you are trying for weight loss.


Regular consumption of this in pure form increases body fat and may cause obesity.
