OOTD : pink, grey and strawberry picking !!

How was your weekend...hope you all had a great time !! we have been to strawberry picking on sunday..if you follow me on Instagram/Facebook you may know that . The farm is called  rosesberryfarm ..its 14 miles from our place. we  had our brunch at our fav place in the world that is chipotle Mexican grill..i had my favourite veggie bowl as usual..:) then we headed to the farm around 12 PM ,it was hot that day..we picked 2 small bowls of strawberries ,they r so fresh ,sweet and yummy..love them..

Here is what i wore ...that day

I went for a pretty simple and casual look,A plain grey tee and pink skorts ,this is the first time i am wearing skorts..believe me they are very comfortable..i always wear skirts..these r my first skorts..i will be getting more skorts now...:) when i browsed in the internet about the strawberry picking,some people recommended wearing sneakers..so i wore them..but as i said earlier..it was very hot we both me and my husband replaced our shoes with flipflops within half an hour.. i expected this before and i brought our flipflops with us  for safe side..:) 

This is my first time picking strawberries by own..i have been to blue berries picking and apple picking earlier !! This plant is so tiny but it has lots of fruits..i am so excited to pick them...

how r u doing..hope u all r enjoying summers !! How was ur weekend ..my hubby was very very busy with his work,,even he worked on this Sunday...but he is very kind, even though he is busy he took me to an island in our state .that's called Block island  so nice of him..he is really sweet..:).The island reminds me of Goa in India,the beaches,the bike rides,pubs and all..its a day well spent...

From our place we have to drive for 50 miles to reach a place called new London,from there we have to travel by a ferry to reach the island,we booked our tickets online for ferry one day before,you can book ur tickets Here

coming to my outfit i wore a cotton skirt with pretty blue fitted tee..,i choose the long skirt because the weather was not that much hot that day..it was a bit cold near the island...so ..:)

Hello my little cupcakes Thanks for stopping !!

As summers are finally here...i want to wear my simple tank dress which i bought from Costco few days back...as i dont prefer sleeveless on me,i paired up with a full sleeves ,light weight grey cardigan..!!

we have been to strawberry fest/farmers market Near by  this saturday ,it was very hot but with the cool winds..i like the weather .its so perfect.sadly i forgot my sunglasses at home..so i cant able to enjoy the sunshine much..these r the few clicks..hope u like my summer style..

I am more into statement neck pieces now a days...they just add a statement to your outfit i feel..so i just added my new statement neon yellow neck piece from www.lovelywholesale ,forgot to tell you all, i bought lots of jewelry online which i will be posting a haul soon.so keep watching this space..
