Henna for hair preparation ( pictorial )

Hello frnds....This the post what i did in weekend..just pampering myself...my hair...i applied henna...so here is the method of preparation

i am using Ayur henna..

1.Take water in bowl, add tea powder ,i prefer to add piece of beetroot it gives a nice colour to ur hair...boil for apprx 10-15 mins

2.Now ,drain the water called tea dicotion ( dont know the exact spelling...hehe) ....add to the henna powder and soak the henna over night..

3.Now add egg white, yoghurt/curd and lemon juice mix well..apply to hair ,leave it for 1 hour and shampoo ur hair normally..

The first 24 to 48 hours after coloring your hair safely and naturally with henna the color may be quite bright. Relax, don't worry. Over 1 to 2 days the color will tone down and look natural and healthy.

Manicure at home !!( picture tutorial )

Hey friends..hope u r all doing good...i know i am not a professional to do professional mani..bt this is my way of mani, and i am getting good result like this..thats y want to share with u all...

Remove. Take off old color with Nailpolish remover on a cotton ball.

Trim. Cut and file nails to your length of choice. As for shape, there are two main options square or rounded.(But i didnt trim mine becoz i am waiting for longer nails)

Soak. Rest hands in a bowl of warm water for five minutes.here  i added liquid soap to soften nails. Make sure the water’s not too hot or it will dry out your hands and nails.

Soften. Apply cuticle oil or lotion ( i applied olive oil )on dry hands to nourish and soften rough spots.

Push. Use a cuticle pusher or u can use a Q-tip to press cuticles back so they don’t get in the way of the polish.
I dont prefer to cut cuticles as i am scared of that.

Scrub  Scrub hands with a body scrub or homemade mixture of sugar and honey . Scrub for two to three minutes, then wash thoroughly.

Gently scrub the nails with smooth nail brush (This step is optonal..if u dont have nail brush..u can skip this or use a soft tooth brush  )

Moisturise. Dry hands and apply ur favourite moisturizer.

Polish. Apply a base coat first, then apply two thin coats of polish.

Here is the final look..i really enjoy this way of doing mani...my hands feel really moisturizing...Try and let me know...

Happy weekend in advance..

Chit Chat juicy lip stick review & swatches !!

Today I am reviewing Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick in Damson. It is a lipstick in a packaging  and this is

The Revlon Kissable Lip Stain Budget Alternative, £1!

I was expecting a horribly drying, hardly pigmented, frost finish lipstick that didn't last 10 minutes on my lips. But what I got left me pleasantly surprised. Its is a very pigmented lipstick that glides on effortlessly and isn't at all drying. It looks quite moisturising on the lips, and lasts as long as you would expect a reasonably priced lipstick to last.

There are only two shades of the lipsticks, one was a golden/brown shimmer lipstick, and the one I picked up which is Damson, a deep pinky-plum coloured lipstick.

swatches with and without flash..

and here is how it looks on me..

Overall I love this lipstick and it is a steal at £1. I definitely recommend you try it out, for a pound you cant really go wrong!

How to make simple, healthy and Fresh salad

Hello friends..just i want to share some simple salad recipe with the ingredients available at home..i used

1.carrot
2.capsicum
3.onion
4.cucumber
5.tomato
6.green chilli,lemon juice and salt

I know..... u all know abt this...but just want to remind u .Mix all the ingredients and add salt ...believe me its super easy and very healthy..yummy too...

If you frequently eat green salads, you'll likely have higher blood levels of a host of powerful antioxidants (vitamin C and E, folic acid, lycopene, and alpha- and beta-carotene,) especially if your salad includes some raw vegetables. Antioxidants are substances that help protect the body from damage caused by harmful molecules called free radicals.

Stay happy and healthy !!

How to apply blush ( beginners must read ) !!

Hi friends...i know u r all ready for weekend blast !!

My todays post is about how to apply a blush in a perfect way to stay longer ( this is my version only ).I am beginner in make up,so i struggled alot to apply blush in a right way, once i came to know the way, then i wanted the blush to stay for loooonng time...so i came up with this way..hope it will help u..

here i am using a pretty barbie pink blush

What u need

1.Blush

2.Lipstick which matches the blush

3.Angled blush brush

 Method :

1.Prepare ur face first..then take a lipstick which matches ur blush, and apply little  on the apples of ur cheeks, then dab little bit  on temples. ( u have to apply a tiny amount and spread smoothly )

2. Do a fish face, and apply the blush. This help you find the apple of your cheeks. Don't smile, that bring your cheeks up, and can make your blush to low

3.i prefer using angled blush brush for beginners like me .It is easy to apply with this.

Pics taken after 6 hours of  blush application

I try to capture the look, but could not.....sorry for the blurred pics..;)

Try this way...u definitely can say ur blush stays long..

Try and let me know how it works for u..

Have a happy weekend !!

Keep smiling !!
