Jeelakarra maggu ( jeera Gravy ) Recipe !!

This is an interesting recipe ..My mom prepares it in rainy cold seasons .we enjoy this with steamed white rice.... It is good for cold and couh too..Now i am having cold and cough i want to cook this and share with you all !!Its so simple and yummy !!





What u need :

Jeera/cumin seeds/jeela karra

Red chillies

Garlic pods

Turmeric powder

For seasoning :

Mustard seeds,cumin ( little bit ) seeds,red chilies ,curry leaves

Preparation :

Make a thick  paste of Jeera,red chilies and garlic using a blender .keep that a side

In a pan add oil,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,when they start spluttering add garlic pods and red chilies ,let them fry.

Now add our paste ,add turmeric powder,adjust salt and cook until the raw smell goes.


Tada..we r done !!

Enjoy this recipe with hot boiled rice in these cod winters !!
