I love to use cream blushes..just with the help of finger tips we can easily apply them,no need to search for clean brushes every time...enough reasons to like cream blushes..huh?? but i often heard these are not good for oil skin beauties.mine is combination skin,cream blushes really work for me.this

My views on NYX Rouge Cream Blush Tea Rose :

As i said earler i love cream blushes,this NYX Rouge Cream Blush Tea Rose a brownish pink shade which is described as medium beige pink in NYX website.i am a big fan of this colour..of course i have not tried other shades , i heard lot about nyx tea rose lipstick so i want to try the blush too

Its such a gorgeous shade,very natural looking.easy to blend,long lasting what else we can expect from a blush,its totally worth the price,i want to try more shades from this NYX Rouge Cream Blush range.there are 9 shades to choose from.may be i will try Boho chic or plummy pink soon

It comes in a simple packaging with transparent  see through lid,i just use my finger tips to use this blush,some times i use my real techniques blush brush too ,again depends on my mood..:)here is the swatch and fotd,its very hard to capture the intensity of blush in pictures,as i always apply blush very lightly..so in this picture below i have applied my blush a bit stronger than i actually wear to show the colour

How are you all? Hope you all are enjoying summers .i think everyone in the world likes to spend their time in beeches or pools especially in summers,isn't it? i am one of those of course !!so i want to share what i carry with me when i go to beach/pool..lets see what are all coming with me..:)

I would love to carry this lace shoe printed red canvas bag with me,its very light weight..i bought it from India in my last visit..i really love it .i wear flip flops generally to the beach..these are from pay less for just $7 !!

My  Beach/pool bag  Check list :

Flip flops
Hat
Beach towel
sunscreen
music and books
water bottle
Sunglasses
mint/chewing gum
Lip balm
Hand sanitizer

I heard from lot of people its not good to carry expensive sun glasses. soi found mine from Old navy ,these are so stylish and affordable.of course..i don't have expensive ones..hehe..:) my hello kitty beach towel is from Costco.my sunscreen is from walgreens..i have to review this,it works very good .
And i also add mu BBW hand sanitizer,my ipod with fav songs ,water bottle to keep you hydrated,lip balm as i have extremely dry lips and some gum  !!

Homemade lemonade

Thanks for all of your lovely comments on my black maxi dress OOTD post..i am really happy by reading your comments .how was your weekend...if you live in USA you may know last weekend was a long weekend ,finally we have been to NYC..had a great time..in NYC.NYC time square , reminds me of Oxford circus shopping street in London.pretty much similar the shops,food,malls and all.

You know you have to drink minimum 4 liters of water daily,especially in summers we have to consume more water to keep you hydrated.

its very boring to drink water,so make juices,lemonades..try different.so i highly recommend you all to invest in a good tumbler so that you can drink more water..it happens with me..hope you understand what i mean !!

You believe or not i am drinking more water/juices/smoothies after buying my mason jar in Walmart..:) crazy me !! This lemonade is very quick and easy to make ,its so refreshing especially in summer.
you just need few ingredients to  make

what you need :
fresh Lemon/lime
mint leaves
Honey/sugar
ice cubes ,water  and
of course a glass/tumbler

Method :

Fill the glass with cold water,squeeze half of your lemon,add honey/sugar and mix well .

Now chop the rest of your lemon into slices ,add mint leaves and ice cubes..give it a good stir and enjoy !!

Note :
Actually lemonade supposed to be made with sugar..but i dont want to consume more sugar,so i replaced with honey.but still it depends on your personal preference,you can use whatever you want honey/sugar .

OOTD : Black maxi dress & Studded Contrast Stilettos !!

These days u can see more OOTD posts here...because of summers..yes..in winter what ever dress u wear you should wear a jacket on top of it...:( so summers are the best time to experiment different dresses and styles..agree? " life's too short to wear boring clothes " i strongly believe this..:)

This is the first time i am wearing a maxi dress.i always feel maxi dresses are not my cup of tea...but after reading  many blogs/magazines i want to give them a try too...while browsing oasap i found this black maxi dress,so i ordered this..surprisingly it fits me perfect ( In length too ) ,so i want to share a post of how i style my black maxi dress with Studded Contrast Stilettos

These studded contrast stilettos are very comfortable ,i bought them  from oasap as well..i have never tried stilettos as well..this is the first time..you can say this is the experimental outfit post as my maxi dress and stilettos are first time...i styled my black maxi dress with Bold Layer Necklace  from oasap as well...:)

I kept the look pretty simple by wearing just a red lipstick..with minimal accessories..and leaving the hair open,I took these pics indoor so sorry for the bad lighting...but some what i like these pictures too..very different..what do u think??,please ignore my expressions in the picture,first time i am taking pictures using tripod,but i promise you better pictures in future..any ways keeping my fingers crossed !!

DIY : Tan removal Mask/scrub for face and body !!

if you notice all my posts are summer related...because its summer...funny..huh?? my first beach visit in this summer was in May..while going i applied my sunscreen ,but sadly i forgot the sunscreen at home..after drenching in water..my sunscreen was needed of course..but its was not with me..so i got lot of tan that day..i really dont like two tones in my body...so i tried this Tan removal Mask/scrub for face and body.this worked for me..so i want to share with you all.i filmed a video too..if u r interested do watch and let me know your valuable suggestions 

 
What you need :

• Rice Flour
• Turmeric/Haldi
• Fresh tomato 
• Rose water/Normal water

Mix all the ingredients together and make a paste..i recommend using freshly prepared . All the ingredients are natural and mainly available at most of our homes.There are plenty of uses of Turmeric as we all know..rice flour is an good exfoliate,Tomato has so many uses.one of the main usage is as a tan removal.
If you follow me on blog you may know i already did a post on how to make rose water at home you can check here,if you dont have rose water you can substitute with normal water.

You can use this for both face and body as a scrub/mask.i use it as a scrub.while taking bath i use Tan removal Mask/scrub instead of soap/shower gel. Hope it helps ..

My summer essentials !!

Summers are here...means time to face the sun,These are my basic summer essentials which i carry with me along with my handbag.most of the times..i don't wear much makeup in summers..i don't feel comfortable wearing lots of makeup in summers..i apply my BB cream ,compact,blush,kajal/eyeliner ,mascara and some lipstick/tinted lip balm.this is my makeup routine most of the times..

Whatever , these are my summer essentials i carry in my clinique bag which i got with my 3-step skin care system !!.

First of all sunglasses..choose sunglasses which are polarized and uv protected..you no need to carry expensive branded ones all the times..these are the ones i bought from Macy's from the brand Nine west ,these r very affordable and stylish..and now comes the hair brush ..its must for me as i always cant manage open my hair in summers...if it is super hot ,i tie my hair !! love this floral mint and pink hair brush which i bought from forever 21 few months back.

Sunscreen are the most important to protect you from tanning..i really hate two tones in my body..i use two types of sunscreens one for my face and another for my body,the sunscreen which i use for face is from kiehl's  and the body sunscreen is from walgreens..i heard lot of sunscreens comes as spray bottles..but i have never used them..i will try to get my hands on them soon..:)

Hand sanitizers  are also mandatory for me..they clean ur hands..germs free..instantly..i love to use BBW pocket bacs they are affordable and comes in different flavors to choose from. lip balms ...are my cup of tea..as i have extremely dry lips..i always carry my eos lip balm with me..these are so bright and colorful perfect for summer !!and some refreshing Mint green tea mouth freshener should be there..isn't it??
