Today's topic is mainly the benefits of coconut for skin.There are three main products we can use from coconut..they are coconut oil,coconut milk and coconut water.i am using coconut oil from my childhood till now to my hair.it's my must have.especially i use parachute coconut oil which is a coconut oil brand available in INDIA.
In winters i apply coconut oil to my body before shower as it moistures my skin well.My grand mother use this as a massage oil,she is using coconut oil as a massage oil since many years.she told that it works better than any other oil.It acts as an effective moisturiser on all types of skins including dry skin.
The benefit of coconut oil on the skin is comparable to that of mineral oil,unlike mineral oil, there is no chance of having any side effects on the skin with the application of coconut oil. Coconut oil therefore is a safe solution for preventing dryness .coconut oil forms the basic ingredient of various body care products such as soaps, lotions, creams, etc., used for skin care. Coconut oil also helps in preventing degenerative diseases due to its antioxidant properties.

:( used to apply all these oils before..but after moving to a country like this.. stooped applying even the moisturiser..all i want is to take a quick shower n pack myself immediately into warm clothes..

ReplyDeleteHi erica...i think you can apply..beacause its a natural product...i have very sensitive skin i apply it in the super winters here before shower...it works for me...try once..if u get any irritation then wash your face immediately...good luck !!
