Hi Beautiful ladies….hope you are all doing fantastic. I heard and read good reviews about sleek true colour lipstick. I want to share some photos and swatches of the shades. They are rich, moisturizing, creamy lipsticks with full on colour.. They smell really good.

What Sleek true colour lipstick claims?

A superb highly-pigmented lipstick enriched with Vitamin E which leaves amazingly rich shades on the lips with only a single coat.

Can be applied using a lip brush for a professional finish.

Price: 3.99 GBP for 3.5 gms.

Availability and packaging:

They come in an oval shaped tube of matte black plastic. Inside it has 3.5g of product, which is pretty average. The colours available are very varied, coming in 20 shades. Although I've never seen all of them in a Superdrug, different stores seem to stock different shades, and they're all are available on the sleek website.

These Lipsticks comes in two different types…They are matte and sheen. Sleek True Color Lipsticks are very pigmented and wears well.. The sheen shades are very creamy and moisturizing. You don’t even need to put a lip balm underneath. The matte shades although a little longer wearing, are slightly dry yet not as dry as your typical matte

The  swatches are in the order Mulberry, Mystic, liqueur, Vamp, Barely there.

Mulberry (sheen) is a is a plum with red/brown undertones

Mystic (matte) is a pretty wearable pink.

Liqueur (sheen) is a very nude shade, it's fairly unique and pretty hard to describe. This definitely has sheen to it, looking almost frosty

Vamp (matte) is a very dark red, not quite burgundy but definitely not a bright colour

Barely there (sheen) is a peachy pink nude with a sheen finish.

Mini Weekend Haul !!

Hey beautifull ladies....Hope u all had a fantastic weekend !! This weekend we just went to the mall nearby in Start ford That is west field mall.If any one staying near by ..Do visit that mall...The largest shopping mall in Europe with over 200 shops, bars and restaurants and 5000 parking spaces it is clearly a very large and accessible shopping mall.

In Level 0 or basement one shop called Beauty bar.Its an nice place to shop all L.A colors cosmetics and some other good brands also with reasonable prices.

Boots No17 shimmer brush review & photos !!

Today i am reviewing my Boots No17 shimmer brush ..its very cute and small brush almost like a kabuki brush..i really cant control myself buying it.i bought it with my shimmer rocks u can check the review here


and now here is the brush..TADA..

Isn't cute?but of course it reminds me of my dad's shaving brush...lol..;)

Price : 3.29 GBP

Packaging :

The brush has a plastic handle which has 17 in gold on the top of it. It then has a gold metal ring in which the bristles for the brush come out. The brush is a light brown colour and the bristles feel very soft. The bristles are quite big and puffy which makes it perfect for applying bronzing pearls or shimmer powder.

The brush comes in a small plastic packet to protect it; this opens easily and can be used to store your brush.

I have used the brush a few times with my bronzing rocks as because the brush is large it picks up plenty of product after swirling it around the pot once. The product is then easily applied by swirling the brush over your face. The bristles to the brush are very soft and gentle on my face.

I also used it as a Powder brush..with one application i can cover my entire face..and it is small..u can check the first pic in my hand.it is light weight and easy to carry in ur hand bag too..;)

Overall i am impressed with this and i highly recommend to anyone....Go grab it if u get a chance ...

Each blush is contained in a small glass jar with a matching lid for colour. However, what I did find strange is that no where on the product did it say the shades? I found out the shade names from Internet.Very strange for a product not to contain the shade name....;)

My experience :

It's very bright in the pot but as you blend it in it looks more natural and pretty. It's beautiful and lasts almost 7-8 hours which I need. The product is easy to use and I love it !!!
  

It is a cream blush that leaves a natural dewy glow on the cheeks. I apply it to the cheek bones and blend it out onto the apples of my cheeks. I love this blush because of how natural it looks. It's really easy to blend so if you find yourself stuck with harsh lines, definitely try this out! 

Will I be buying more of these blushes? 

 Maybe, possibly, yes. ..but some other shades..

Hi Friends....How r u all? In my previous post u can determine ur skin under tone....if not check here.Now i want to share how to choose right lipstick for u...hope this may help u...Lets start..


1.Choose a color that complements your skin undertones and the natural color of your lips. Your skin undertones can be cool,neutral or warm.


2.If you have a cool undertone look for lipsticks with cool undertones.Like Rich Reds and Pale pinks anything with cool colors.

3.If you have a neutral undertone you can choose anyone you like!


4.If you have a warm undertone look for lipsticks with warm undertones like corals,red orange, plum, wine anything with warm colors.

5. Wear lighter shades during the daytime and darker shades when you go out at night. Lipsticks with a matte or cream finish provide for a more refined look during the day. Sheer, natural colors also make for great daytime looks. A glossier lipstick creates for an enchanting evening visage.

6.Remember that your lip liner (if you choose to wear it) should be the same shade as your natural lips. Lips should be lined before applying lipstick, not after.

7.Take your eye makeup into consideration when choosing a shade. Deep or bold shades go best with light eye makeup; conversely, light or natural shades of lipstick best compliment heavy eye makeup.

Try the following tests to find out which undertones your skin has. Be sure to do them in natural lighting, near a window is best:

 

Turn your arm over and look at the veins on your forearm and wrist. If the veins appear more green than you have yellow undertones. This means your skin tone is warm. If the veins appear more blue then you have blue undertones. This means your skin tone is cool.

For this test you will need a mirror and a sheet of white paper. Be sure to remove your make up! Looking in the mirror, hold the sheet of white paper next to your face. If your face looks yellow, this means your skin tone is warm. If your face looks blue, this means your skin tone is cool.

My Take :

I am using it since 2 years..and shelf life is 3 years,A small quantity of this product is enough to cover entire face...i am mixing a little bit with TM..and its giving my face feel fresh and glow for at least 9 hours...its definitely a worth trying...!!

The Good about Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator:

• Gives a nice fresh dewy glow to skin without making it look overdone.
• Easily blendable.
• Contains SPF 15.
• Multi use product. Can be used as illuminator, highlighter or all over face & body.
• Texture is on lighter side & won’t make skin feel heavy.

The Not-so-Good about Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator:

• Not suitable for very oily skin.
